How
This is a free app from the Google or Apple App store and can be downloaded onto Android or iOS devices. It covers the basics of Te Reo through short, simple lessons that become slowly more complex.
Tips for parents
This isn't just good for children, but adults too! Why not have a family challenge to see who can finish the app the quickest. Another idea is to try and find ways to replace things you might say in English with the lessons you learn . For example, instead of saying "Good dog!", say "Kurī pai!" (Or, Kurī kino if it's a naughty dog!)
