Connected Series -Reading across learning areas

WHAT Search here to find a variety of text that promote scientific, technological and mathematical literacy so that you can engage in a critical and informed manner with real-life science and technology related issues. HOW You can use the search and look for a topic that interests you or you can pick and choose a learning area that captures your imagination. You can also search by curriculum level (Level 3 is Year 5 and 6 , Level 4 is Year 7 and 8). Tips for parents The connected series are a range of texts targeted at years 4 - 8. You will see that you can download the text as a pdf, or view as a google presentation, there are also a number of teacher activities also. There are a number of ideas that accompany each piece you may like to encourage your child to explore a little deeper or you too might like to involve yourself in the learning too.
